As we can see, more and more university graduates choose to seek their future in big cities. In my opinion,it’s natural and blameless and I approve of the phenomenon firmly.

As is known to us all, many big companies locate their headquarters in big cities.as a result, the graduates are easier to hunt a wonderful job. For example, in Zhongguancun, Haidian District, there are so many big electronic firms. If we can become a member of any one of them, our future is probably bright.

Secondly, the living conditions in big cities are superior to other smaller cities. The transportations, catering and living are convenient. Last but not least, graduates will obtain higher promotion and development in the future if they are in big cities.

There is no denying that there are some disadvantages in big cities. However, it’s the attraction of benefits that drive more and more graduates choose to seek their future in big cities.

Want to be a small fish in a big pond or the other way round? Every graduate faces this question when he starts his career. A large number of college graduates prefer to stay in the big cities. To them, big cities mean more experiences, more opportunities to see the big world and more space for career development. At the same time, higher salary is another temptation. But some other graduates want to start in small towns. Even though there may not be many big companies, they can have a quieter and less competitive life. Another reason is that they can be a big fish in a small pond. They can easily get the management’s attention and may win promotion earlier. As far as I am concerned, I prefer to start in a metropolis like Shanghai. A good begin is half the battle, and in Shanghai I can find a job in a big company where I can meet people from different places and cultures. I will learn from them what I can not get from textbooks. Diligence is the key to success. It means persisting in one's work. It does not mean having ourselves working all day and all night without rest, food and sleep. The true meaning of diligence is to use time carefully for the purpose of improvement, or to work persistently without wasting time.Laziness, however, makes us useless. If we do not study and work hard we shall not be able to earn a living in our community. There will be nothing we can do just because we have failed to learn anything by letting the time pass unused. An English proverb says, "Lost time is never found again." Time is precious and is one of those many things that cannot be purchased with money. Therefore, we must make good use of our time and study hard when we are young. Lazy hands make a man poor, while diligent hands bring wealth. A(yù)s the pace of life continues to quicken, you find yourself under stress all too often.Chronic stress contribute to a wide range of physical and emotional problem. First, you have to reevaluate the prioriies of your life. Do you really need those lavish thing, like fashionable clothes and a brand-new car? If you learn to be content with what you have, you probably won't have to take a sceond job or spend your weekend in the office. Sceond, regular exerise will help relieve your stress. No matter how busy you are, find time to play some games, peferably with your family and kids. Thrid, you should learn to relax. The world won't come to an end if you stop and smell the roses on the roadside. By

doing so, you'll find yourself with enhanced physical strength and mental vigor and your capability to cope with change and stress will improve enormously. The Role Science Plays In Our LifeScience plays a very critical role in our daily life.Firstly, from the vehicles' persective, the convenience that we get from science is becoming more and more.Secondly, science helps us get a deeper understanding of the world and the nature of substances. Quantities of people do not have to suffer the pain the diseases bring to them.Thirdly, science means more efforts into theexploration of the mysterious world. 1]My healthy lifestyle I think I'm pretty healthy. I exercise every day, usually when I come home from school. My eating habits are pretty good. I try to eat a lot of vegetables. I eat fruit and drink milk every day. I never drink coffee. Of course, I love junk food too, and I eat it two or three times a week. Oh, and I sleep nine hours every night. So, you see, I look after my health. and my healthy lifestyle helps me get good gtades. Good food and exercise help me to study better. [2]Here are some things you can do to keep yourself healthy. Having a good diet is very important. This means eating lots of different kinds of food and lots of fresh fruit and vegetables.(也就是說,要多吃不同種類的食物和新鮮的水果蔬菜。) Doing exercise is another good way of keeping yourself healthy. Exercise makes you fitter and helps you relax. Some things are bad for your health, like smoking and drinking alcohol. It is better to try and give up these things or at least do them less. It is important to have regular check ups with a dentist who will check your teeth. You can also visit an optician who will check your eyes.(你也要經(jīng)常去眼科醫(yī)生那兒檢查眼睛。)You should ask your doctor for a health check once a year. The doctor will be able to help you spot other problems that you might not have noticed. You can take away our money, house, car, or even our clothes and we can survive. But if our health was taken away, we would surely die. That is why we always try to eat in a healthy way and exercise regularly. In order to eat healthily, I usually avoid eating food high in fat, like French fries or cookies. I also eat little meat. I eat a lot of vegetables and fresh fruit which are full of vitamins. Taking exercise every day helps us build

a strong body. Regular exercise is an important part of keeping me healthy. What's more, I think friends are an important part of one's health. Many studies show that people with a wide range of social contacts get sick less than those who don't. I always feel better when I am with friends than when I am alone. When I am with my friends, I always laugh. Laughing is also an important part of health. I like to laugh with my friends. By eating properly and exercising regularly, I can keep my body at a proper weight and keep healthy. By spending time with my friends, I can keep my mind as well as my body happy. these things sound easy to do, but not many people can manage them. I think a strong will is necessary if we want to keep healthy.理想職業(yè)My Ideal JobThere are various kinds of jobs in the world, such as writing, nursing, teaching and engineering. But different people choose different jobs as their ideal careers. This is because everyone has his own interest. As for me, I have made up my mind to be a teacher. I choose to do so mainly for three reasons. First, I want to teach because I like the pace of academic calendar. Two long vacations offer me an opportunity for reflection, research and writing. Secondly, I want to teach because I like the freedom to make my own mistakes, to learn my own lesson, to stimulate myself and my students. And I can have the opportunity to keep on learning. Finally, I want to teach because, being around the students who are beginning to grow and change in front of me, I will grow and change with them too.But teaching is no easy job at all. I must study cleverly to obtain more knowledge. And, at the same time, I will make every effort to purify my soul so that I can become an architect of man's soul.

      Failure is a common thing

There are all kinds of setbacks in our life. Facing different challenges, sometimes we succeed, and sometimes

we don’t. In fact, it’s more common that we fail in the very first few attempts. However, different people hold different opinions on failure: some people won’t get frustrated by failure and persisted in carrying out their attempts, while the others give up easily after a few attempt. There is no absolute right or wrong in these attitudes. In my opinion, failure is not a bad thing and we should not get frustrated by it.

As China entered WTO,we have benefited from WTO and been affected deeply by western culture--especially western festivals.

More and more young people celebrate western festivals, such as Christmas ,Valentine's Day.They deeply influenced the young's heart, become one part of their lives.Posting cards during Christmas day to friends and buying lover a bunch of roses and a box of chocolate is usual now.Therefor, somebody thinks that western festivals make the Chinese tradition going away day after day.But I don't think so. Nowadays,People also get together to celebrate Spring Festival with a variety of feasts, entertainment and sports events.Whole families eat festive dinners and sit up late or even all night to great the lunar New Year. People eat zongzi on the fifth-day of the fifth lunar month--Dragon Boat Festival can prove that people make much of Chinese tradition.

So I think young people celebrate western festivals only for fun. It'sproved that they want to learn more and more western culture. In my opinion, receiving the good part of western culture is good for us which can help us be coming up roses.

      Celebrities as the products’ spokesmen

In the contemporary society, it is very common for celebrities, or the so-called superstars, to be spokesmen or representatives for a wide variety of products. Celebrities’ advertisements can be easily found on the Internet, televisions, newspapers, magazines and even on the walls of some buildings.

There are, however, some problems for celebrities and the consumers. To begin with, before representing, a star may know nothing about the product. Thus, consumers may be misled. Even worse, for the sake of money, some stars advertise for items with low quality, even for fake commodities. In the case of Sanlu, the public image of stars involved was spoiled. Last but not least, the high income of advertising does not deserve their labor, which widens the gap between the poor and the rich.

From my point of view, it is high time that measures were taken to eliminate the demerits. Firstly, laws should be worked out to regulate celebrities’ advertising. Secondly, stars should be required to tell the truth to the public. Only by doing so can stars be trusted by their fans and can consumers benefit.

For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a short essay on the topic Starting Career in a Big City or Small Town? You should write at least 150 words following the outline given below in Chinese:

      1. 很多的大學生畢業(yè)后留在大城市工作;

      2. 也有人選擇到小城鎮(zhèn)開始自己的職業(yè)生涯;

      3. 結(jié)合自己的實際情況談?wù)勛约旱南敕ā?/p>

      范文:

Want to be a small fish in a big pond or the other way round? Every graduate faces this question when starting his career. A large number of college graduates prefer to stay in big cities, which mean more experiences, more opportunities to see the big world and more space for career development. At the same time, higher salary is another temptation。

But some other graduates intend to start in small towns. Even though there may not be many big companies, they can have a quieter and less competitive life. Another reason is that they can be a big fish in a small pond. They can easily get the management’s attention and may win promotion earlier。

As far as I am concerned, I prefer to start in a metropolis like Shanghai. A good begin is half the battle, and in Shanghai I can find a job in a big company where I can meet people from different places and cultures. I will learn from them what I can not get from textbooks.

At present, there is an arrestive phenomenon: those suffering from high-pressure choose to commit suicide, among whom are college students. My question is: why these college students commit suicide?

The factors working together give rise to the frequent happening of suicide

committing. In the first place, college students these days are under great pressure from academic study. The college entrance examination is one fierce battle, after

which in college, these young people are confronted with a lot of work. In the second place, pressure from their families is also a factor resulting in their tragedy. Most of them, as the only child of the families, are shouldering great hopes from their parents. While the hopes may give them encouragement and sense of responsibility, they also work as pressure.

In a word ,unavoidable high pressure is the point. But anything can be covered in this world.Only that students hold the right mood to enjoy the life and think out suitable ways to release can they go through this problem

China is becoming a country with the biggest population of mobile phone subscribers and an increasing number of college students are joining the existing users. Statistics show that eight out of ten college students have got one. However, is it necessary for a college student to own a mobile phone?

In my opinion, there is nothing wrong for a college student to have a cell phone. With it, students will be better connected with friends and parents. What’s more, mobile phones play an important role in graduates’ job-hunting. Therefore, instead of banning the use mobile phones, schools should take measures to guide an appropriate use of them on campus. For example, students are required to switch off their phones in classsrooms and under no circumstances should they use a mobile phone during exams. In some public places, like libraries, a poster can be placed at the entrance to alert library users to switch their phones to vibration mode before they enter the library.

I believe mobile phones can bring benefits to our students as long as we can make good use of them.

      Getting Jobs after Graduation

The job market for college graduates is getting tighter and tighter. According to a survey, in 2005 only 60 percent of college graduates found jobs. Why do college graduates find it increasingly difficult to get jobs? There are some reasons.

For one thing, high technology brings many interesting things to young people such a TV, the Internet and PC games. Some students are indulged in these activities, totally neglecting their studies. For another, some of the students are also very particular about the salary and the place. Many college graduates set too high payment standard and they are

reluctant to seek a job in the less developed areas, where there are many opportunities for success and career development.

With the increasing college population, employment for graduates will become more serious. In order to solve the problem, college graduates should spend more time on their learning to improve their academic performance. They also need to have a moderate salary requirement.

Upon graduating from the university, every student is faced with a big, practical problem, that is, to make a choice for his/her future career. However, the choice varies from person to person. Some students want to find jobs in joint ventures, desiring to earn more money. Many are preparing for entering the graduate school, so they work hard to pass the entrance examination. Also, there are unambitious ones who are indifferent to the choice of career and think that any kind of job will satisfy their desire. Only a small number of students are at a loss what to choose. As to me, I am deter mined to further my studies abroad and I am fully supported by my parents.

I have many reasons for my choice. The fundamental one is that in a developed country I can enrich my mind with most advanced professional knowledge in my speciality. I believe that the more I learn, the better equipped I will be with modern knowledge, and the more probably I will succeed in my pursuit. Some people suggest that I work while studying. Well, that might be a good idea. However, I would like to see more of the world when I am young, and I think three or four years' study will undoubtedly benefit my whole life. In addition, I

am sure that I will certainly have more opportunities to get a satisfactory job in future with the profound knowledge I learn in graduate school abroad

Recently it has become a common phenomenon for college students to have two majors at the same time. In thisway, they can get double BA degrees when they graduate from the university several years later.

Although it may bring unfavorable consequences, we can be sure to conclude that this practice is favorable on thewhole. To begin with, most students will become more hardworking and efficient in order to finish the learning taskssatisfactorily. Moreover, with two degrees at hand after graduation, they will stand a better chance in the job market fullof fierce competition. In the third place, as for today's university students, tuition and fees are becoming more andmore expensive. If they can make achievements in study at schooland find a satisfactory job afterwards, it will not be a big problem.

Weighing the pros and cons of such a new trend, we can naturally arrive at the conclusion that it is beneficial and rewarding. This system not only compels students to work hard, but also prepares them for the coming competition.

      第二段第三句中的stand a better chance(of)表示“大有希望”;第三段末句中的compel sb.to do sth.

There are some individuals who argue that, compared to the environment protection, the top priority is supposed to given to economic development. They deem that environmental problems are inevitable and unavoidable in the process of economic development. They are only the by products of economic development, which can be handled later when we have the time and money.

However, other individuals hold different opinions that(或者:other holders of the opposite opinions argue that ) environment protection should be attached more importance than economic development in that present serious environmental problems will threaten the health of the residents and hinder the advance of the economy.

As far as I am concerned, environmental protection and economic development can coexist in parallel and can stay in harmony. Our ultimate aim in economic development is to provide a comfortable and happy life for our people. What is the point of economic development if we achieve it at the cost of our environment? There has been much evidenc

e to prove that a balance between the two helps more rapid and continuous development of the society.

Now the income gap is getting wider and wider. In some privately owned firms, joint-ventures, or foreign-fund companies, an executive's yearly income is ten times or even a hundred times as much as an ordinary worker's.

Faced with this situation, people will undoubtedly have different opinions. Some believe that it benefits the social and economic development since driving force is often derived from the gap. In other words, the gap inspires people and gives a push to advancement. Others speak of its side effect: income gap is often the root of social unrest and also contrary to our country's principle.

From my point of view, while it is true that the income gap may stimulate the social development to some extent, it causes trouble as well. An income gap that is too wide for most people to bear can neither contribute to the stability of a country nor promote its economic development. Therefore, while we are advocating the rapid development of our country, we should tolerate the narrow income gap but narrow the wide one.

Should Universities lower Admission Requirements for Celebrities?

In recent years, many famous universities lower admission requirements for celebrities. More and more celebrities, especially sports stars, have been admitted to famous universities even without an entry examination. This phenomenon has become a subject of widespread controversy.

Some people object strongly that universities lower admission requirements for celebrities. They hold that this admission pattern will damage the basic fairness rule of education. In addition, they say that if a person who has not enough academic ability is admitted tothe university, it would be an insult on college education. However, still other people think it acceptable. They say that these celebrities deserve this privilege because they have proved their abilities in their field. Besides, in their opinions, these celebrities to some extent set a good model for other young people.

Weighing these two arguments, I prefer the latter one. For one thing, these celebrities have sacrificed much learning time for their work, so they should be provided a better chance for learning. For another, if they accept advanced education, they could serve the society better. Therefore, I suggest that people should pay more attention to these celebrities' efforts and contributions rather than the special treatment they enjoy.

Dormitory life is an indispensable part of college life. But sometimes the harmony in the dormitory can be disturbed in one way or another.

As is known to all, a harmonious dormitory life is important to college students and benefits all the members. On one hand, we can have a good rest and put our heart into study. On the other hand, we will have a good mood and enjoy being together.

There are several ways to create and maintain a harmonious dormitory life. First, you have to evaluate your life-style and try to get rid of your dirty habits, if there are any. Second, when an annoying situation arises, you'll just have to learn to tolerate each other and co-exist. Third, you'll have to share with each other and make good friends.

In conclusion, we should try our best to build a harmonious dormitory life for the sake of good study and good life.

But some other graduates want to stay in small towns. Even though there may not be many big companies, they can have a quieter and less competitive life. Another reason

is that they can be a big fish in a small pond. They can easily get the management's attention and may win promotion earlier.

As far as I am concerned, I prefer to start in a metropolis like Shanghai. A good begin is half the battle, and in Shanghai I can find a job in a big company where I can meet people from different places and cultures. I will learn from them what I can not get from textbooks.

Studying Abroad: Hardships and Rewards

There is no denying the fact that studying abroad is a hotly debated topic today. Obviously, studying abroad has a number of rewards/advantages. In the first place, a student can have access to advanced science and technology as well as desirable working conditions which might not be available at home. In the second place, he can be exposed to entirely new ideas and trends. Last but not least, by living and studying in a foreign country, one can improve his foreign language much faster than at home.

Nevertheless, as every coin has two sides, studying abroad also confronts one with a series of hardships. For one thing, learning a foreign language is far from an easy thing at the beginning for most people. For another, a completely new environment with different customs and habits may also be a barrier to overseas students, especially to the young. An added difficulty lies with finance: it can cost a lot to study abroad.

From my point of view, the advantages of studying abroad outweigh its disadvantages. But it is a big decision to go abroad to study and one should take into consideration his financial conditions and his ability to adapt to new surrounding. Personally, I choose to go abroad and study if I find it necessary.

(Therefore, studying abroad should be viewed as a two-edged sword, which presents us with both benefits and troubles. The best policy, as I see it, is to take into consideration his financial conditions and his ability to adapt to new surrounding. Personally, I choose to go abroad and study if I find it necessary.)

Academic Dishonesty on Campus

It is shown in the recent surveys that many college students copy papers from the Internet to save the trouble of doing their homework. In my opinion, this kind of academic dishonesty is very harmful to these students.

First, copying papers from the Internet makes students lazy. Copying papers from theInternet seems easy and can save some time and trouble, therefore, students will do this more and more often and seldom work hard to complete their papers on their own. In other words, students will become lazier and lazier. Second. students can learn little from copying others' work. Students cannot improve their abilities just by downloading papers from the Internet without their own thinking and working. What's worse, once students get usedt

o academic cheating, they may also cheat in other cases in the future, which will be verydangerous for them.

To prevent academic dishonesty on campus, some punishment by the school may be necessary. But the most important thing is that teachers should talk to those students, and make them aware of the fact that copying others' work cannot bring them any knowledge and that only by working hard can they improve themselves.

      9. 感恩On Cultivating the Sense of Gratitude

On college campuses across the nation, there is a noticeable phenomenon that we cannot afford to ignore: far too many young college students lack the sense of gratitude, oneof the countless traditional virtues of this ancient land with a splendid civilization spanning over 5,000 years. These young adults were not and are not aware of the huge importance of expressing gratitude to those who once helped them, from teachers to parents and so forth.

Personally, I deem that the root cause of students without a graceful heart is that they receive an education not valuing the moral sphere. I strongly believe that joint efforts from folks across society are the final remedy for this social headache. As young universitystudents of the new era, we should make our own contributions to this cause. Imagine aworld without the sense of gratitude. This kind of world is doomed to failure.

Simply put, we should join our hands to heighten our awareness of fostering a graceful heart. Only in this way can we build our society into a harmonious one. My fellow students, I beg you to act from now on.

Over the past couple of years, a variety of talent shows have emerged on TV channels across the nation, from Happy Boys to Happy Girls and so forth. This type of entertainment program is intensely popular, especially among young adults and has produced profound impacts on their studies and life. There are a couple of reasons behind the tide. To start with, young folks need role models to learn from. So many of them are crazy for contestants participating in these programs. This gives rise to the increasing emergence of these shows because TV networks naturally need to cater to young audiences. Plus, thanks to economic and political reforms carried out by the government, this crop of young generation have more freedom and desire to express and showcase themselves. Therefore,a growing number of young people desire to get involved in these shows. This is a divisive topic.

On my personal level, the talent show is a superb means of relaxing and amusing and can hugely relieve our strains. As college students, however, we could not afford to indulge in them and should be aware of the utmost importance of studies.

In recent years, the volunteering spirit has spread among the Chinese people, especially among youngsters. According to a survey, in 2008, there were about 1,700,000 volunteers who offered service for Olympic Games. Actually, an increasing number of people become volunteers every year in China.

Volunteering actions are of tremendous benefits to both those in need and the society. Olympic Games are a good example. As is known to all, volunteers played an active role in Beijing Olympic Games. Without them, it would be a tough task to hold this un-precedent Olympic Games. Therefore, we can say that it was those volunteers who ensured the success of these games.

As modern college students, we should get actively involved in volunteering activities. By participating, we can learn how to work well in a team, how to improve our interpersonal skills and organizational ability. Undoubtedly, all of these are critical for our person growth. So, we should take this chance to learn and to grow.

      Dear Shitou,

So great to recieve your letter on May 1st, in which you inquired about my plan after graduation. Now, I am writing to illustrate it and my accounts.

As is known to all, so many graduates are eager to set feet on their work-life roads. According to a survey by National Department of Education, more than six million college students will leave the so called “Ivory Tower” this year. It is clear that the competition of job-hunting will be extremely furious. On the contrary, it seems advisable for me to further my study and get a master’s degree. What makes me convinced is that a higher degree and better educational background will, undoubtedly, enable me to make full preparation for entering the society. Besides, if possible, I will get involved in social and practical activities in my spare time.

Taking all aspects into account, I choose to study as a postgraduate.

It can be noticed that a large number of private schools or training organizations become a new landscape in education. When you read newspapers, when you watch TV, when you walk on the road, you will inevitably see lots of advertisements about private schools. There are private schools mainly dealing with foreign languages, computers, music and sports.

However, is it a good or bad thing to have so many private schools? As a coin has two sides, so are the private schools. On the one hand, private schools can meet the special needs of the society or the particular requirements of people. On the other hand, they often bring people extra burden because of comparison and competition.

When asked to decide whether we should have a society without private schools or a society with private schools, I will not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter. Although attending a training course will result in the extra cost or burden, it is of tremendous merits in preparing my work and cultivating my skills.

Only by doing so can stars be trusted by their fans and can consumers benefit.(183)

Every individual faces the problem of choosing an occupation after graduating from university, which is of great importance in one’s whole life. An appropriate occupation makes a man work with vigor and zest. Besides, it is beneficial for both the individual and the country. To make an advisable choice, a graduate should take into account at least two aspects, namely, individual’ interest and the demand of the society. Only when the two aspects are connected, can a man show his ability and talent to the best advantage. If the two factors conflict, the former, in most cases, should give way to the latter, for it is interests that stimulate one’s vigor and potentials.

In regard to my choice in the future, I want to work as an interpreter. I am keen on learning foreign languages, English in particular. Moreover, in the contemporary society, international exchange in economy and culture has been growing significantly. However, competent interpreters are far from enough. So I am determined to be a qualified interpreter.(169

Should College Students Be Allowed to Live off Campus?

Some time ago, China's Ministry of Education banned university students from renting private accommodation. To this people’s attitudes differ sharply. Some hold the positive view. They say that most students prefer to live off campus for the purpose of living with their boyfriends or girl friends, which might severely affect their study. Besides, living on campus can ensure the safety of students and facilitate communication between them.

However, many others hold the opposite view. They claim that the living conditions on campus are unbearable. The dormitory is usually crowded and badly equipped. Besides, the university cuts the electricity too early every night. Therefore, many students choose to live off campus in rented houses with the purpose of enjoying a reasonably better living environment and concentrating more on their studies.

As far as I am concerned, I tend to believe that universities should be more flexible towards the administration of dorms. The ban should never be a cut-off measure and special situations should be considered.

Meanwhile, the school should try to upgrade the overall condition of dorms and provide all students with a better service at a low price.

(或Personally, I am in favor of the decision of China's Ministry of Education. Anyway, college students, most aged 18-22, are still too young to control themselves or make proper decisions. Besides, living on campus promotes a sense of belonging by being closely connected with other students. This could truly be a valuable part of the four-year college education.)

Should College Students Live on Campus a. There are an increasing number of students who choose to live off campus. Parents and university administrations understandably reacted differently. They voiced concerns about security and the threat of off-campus lifestyles getting out of control. However, college students have their own reasons for their choices。 Some students prefer to live on campus for the following reasons. First, campus residents are closer to classes, the library, and other resources, so they are more likely to succeed in college and complete their bachelor’s degree in four years. Furthermore, Living in a dorm is a great opportunity to meet all kinds of new people and develop relationships with them, so students living on campus are more sociable. Last but not the least, living on campus is cheaper and more convenient. Often times, off-campus housing is more expensive than on-campus housing and while living on campus, you don’t have to worry about monthly rent payments and utility bills?! ome others choose to live off campus because they believe living off campus they are more independent, with more privacy and a lot more quiet time. Advocates invariably associate it with innovation, stylishness, the DIY spirit, open-mindedness and practicality, as shanzhai products often mix imitation with innovation —a similar skin but a different heart. The end products are usually more functional and much cheaper than the original. Besides, they respond to the market more swiftly and they are more considerate in design. Thanks to them, more people at the grassroots level can enjoy the benefit of modern technology. However, other people, including myself, hold more reserved attitudes towards the shanzhai fever. For all the popularity it has won, a copycat is a copycat. The mockery of the prestige products not only steals their profits but also upsets market competition. Moreover, shanzhai products thrive on the current legal loopholes. Under the disguise of anti-dominance slogans, they make illegal profits by violating intellectual property rights and evading taxes. And to top it off, the so-called innovation is only senseless talk as true innovation always faces huge costs and potential failures, while plagiarism simply builds success on other people’s risks.◇第一段思路點評:綜述山寨熱現(xiàn)象。 笳Z言點提示:(1)mix imitation with innovation混淆模仿與創(chuàng)新(2)respond to the market對市場做出反應(yīng) ◇第三段思路點評:主要闡述對山寨產(chǎn)品侵權(quán)、擾亂市場等方面的看法?!

Some people identify high diplomas with profound knowledge and exceptional competence. Companies also tend to emphasize the academic achievement of a job candidate. Like it or not, there does exist a social reality – the higher diplomas one gets, the more popular he becomes. On the contrary, other people claim that a high diploma doesn’t automatically translate into knowledge. A diploma, in their eyes, is only the acknowledgment of one’s educational experience rather than a guarantee of one’s ability. Therefore, we can never measure the depth of one’s knowledge by the grade of one’s diploma. Besides, many knowledgeable people don’t have a high diploma. Take Bill Gates for example. His dropping out of college cannot deny the fact that he is one of the world’s most learned men. So I must say no one should ever equate a diploma with knowledge, because a diploma is nothing but a proof of a short-term study while genuine knowledge needs one’s lifelong devotion. Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a short essay entitled Should Parents Send Their Kids to Art Classes? You should write at least 150 words following the outline given below. 1.

The life of children, especially those born and raised in the cities, is suppose
